Outlook 2003
This page describes how to setup your Incabus Mail account in Outlook 2003. Although it is a little different from earlier versions, you should be able to find the same settings in similar places.
How to setup Outlook 2003 to use your Incabus Mail account
You either start your Outlook 2003 or you go to the “Control Panel” > “Mail” and double click it. You then click on the “E-mail accounts…” button. In this example we start from Outlook 2003 and choose the menu “Tools” > “E-mail accounts…”.

This opens the “E-mail Accounts” dialog box. There you select the “Add a new e-mail account” radio button. Then click on the “Next >” button.

In the next view you chose the type of server your new e-mail account will work with. You select the “POP3” radio button. Then click on the “Next >” button.

In the next view you fill in your account information and e-mail servers.
Under the “User Information” section, do the following:
In the “Your Name” field you enter your name.
In the “E-mail Address” field you enter your email address.
Under the “Server Information” section, do the following:
In the “Incoming mail server (POP3)” field you enter “pop3.incabus.com”.
In the “Outgoing mail server (SMTP)” field, you enter “smtp.incabus.com”.
IMPORTANT. If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) has blocked outgoing e-mail (SMTP) in their network, you must use the SMTP server they recommend. Please check with your ISP for details on what SMTP server to use.
Under the “Logon Information” section do the following:
In the “User Name” field, enter your e-mail address. This is the same address that you entered in the “E-mail Address” field.
In the “Password” field, you enter the password you received with your e-mail account information.
IMPORTANT. If you change your password when you are logged on to your webmail, you MUST change it in this field.
Then click on the “More Settings…” button.

Clicking the “More Settings…” button will open the “Internet E-mail Settings” dialog box. There you select the “Outgoing Server” tab.
Select the “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” check box. You let the “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” button stay selected.
Click on the “OK” button. This closes the “Internet E-mail Settings” dialog and returns you to the “E-mail Accounts” dialog box. There you click on the “Next >” button.

You close the wizard by clicking on the “Finish” button.

You are now ready to use your Incabus Mail account with Outlook 2003.
